Located entirely in the historic territory of Álava, between the municipalities of Amurrio (Arrastaria area) and Kuartango, this route will allow you to contemplate one of the most impressive natural wonders of the Iberian Peninsula.

The Nervión Waterfall, with a horsetail-shaped drop of more than 270 metres, is the highest waterfall in the whole peninsula and one of the most spectacular in Western Europe. Surrounded by a privileged natural environment, this enclave offers a breathtaking landscape, especially in times of rain or thaw.

We encourage you to discover this natural treasure by accessing it from the routes in Alava, such as those that start from Delika (Amurrio) with a mostly flat and easy route, or Untzaga (Kuartango), which allow you to enjoy the rich landscape of the area without leaving the Basque Country.
