Mundaka, the most beautiful town to travel to in August

The renowned travel magazine, National Geographic, has chosen Mundaka as the best town to visit in August. Among the many attractions of the town, its left wave, one of the best in the world, stands out. Every year thousands of surfers come to the town to surf this wave. 

This coastal town is located in the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve, the most important wetland in the Basque Country, home to different species of migratory birds. It is also home to some of the most beautiful beaches, charming villages and enclaves such as San Juan de Gaztelugatxe and the Oma Forest.
