Lovely Plentzia Beach belongs to Biscay's town of the same name.
It is located close to the town centre in a beautiful bay and near the ria's estuary. A promenade surrounds the fine golden beach. Its calm water is perfect for families with children and for those who want to practise varied sports such as windsurfing, surfing and canoeing.
Plentzia is one of the best alternatives when conditions are not favourable and there are extremely rough seas. It is an ideal wave for initiation of children in the art of surfing and for developing their skills. It is a long left which is ideal for executing manoeuvres and easy to surf.
The beach has two surf schools that are open all year.
Surfing, beach volleyball, bodyboarding, canoeing, playground, beach soccer, outdoor concerts, kite flying.
11am - 8pm.
