A magical journey to the past of Rioja Alavesa

You´ll begin the day by getting to know the Villa-Lucía estate and a little of its history. You´ll go on to visit the Villa-Lucía museum, devoted to wine and presenting the history and rituals of wine in Rioja Alavesa.

 

You´ll enjoy the 4D sensory experience “En Tierra de Sueños” (In a Land of Dreams) in which a wine spirit named Vinfo reveals the area´s heritage and resources. You´ll then be able to taste a wine over 30 - or may be over 40 - years old in the museum, to see how it develops.

 

Then you´ll enjoy a special meal at the Villa-Lucia restaurant. The activity ends with a visit to El Fabulista winery, one of the only two cellars in the mediaeval quarter of Laguardia that makes wine in the traditional style.
